Lena Flörl has received a 2025 Best Student Paper Award from the American Phytopathological Society (APS).
Her paper, “Is the Juice Worth the Squeeze? Evaluating Peptide Nucleic Acid (PNA) Blockers for Reducing Plant DNA Contamination in 16S rRNA Gene Sequencing,” co-authored with Nicholas Bokulich, took second place among student papers published in PhytoFrontiers.
The MSB team is proud to announce our new paper: "MOSHPIT: Accessible, reproducible metagenome data science on the QIIME 2 framework".
MOSHPIT supports both read-based and assembly-based workflows within the Rachis (formerly known as QIIME 2) ecosystem. Thank you to everyone across our team and community who contributed to this big effort!
